Lap Band! Woo hoo!!

I finally decided to get a Lap Band!

In early January I went to an informational seminar at the office of Austin Institute of Bariatrics and Laparoscopy. Dr. Ganta, the surgeon, conducted the seminar himself. He explained all of the different procedures and answered a ton of questions regarding the procedures. After the seminar I spoke with Dr. Ganta, and gave him my information so that his staff could call me and set up a consultation. They called the next day. I believed that my insurance was going to start covering the procedure come September, so I figured there was no big rush and scheduled my consultation for February 5th.
